Experience Weimar's cultural city with the free Weimar+ app
The Weimar+ app is a free multimedia guide that offers audio tours, interactive maps, theme tours, and AR applications to explore the cultural city of Weimar. Developed by Klassik Stiftung Weimar, the app provides radio play-like audio walks in museums and parks, audio guides, and additional materials such as videos and interviews.
The interactive map allows you to explore the language area of the city, the Park on the Ilm, and the Belvedere Castle Park individually. With activated GPS, you can display all audio stops in the immediate vicinity, and go on a discovery tour using a filterable recommendation system. Additionally, you can discover the game with AR functions in the Park on the Ilm and the Nietzsche Archive, and design your own living profile with the Wohnkubator.
The app also provides in-depth information, interviews with curators, video features of the artists and gardeners, hearing a matter of debates that address the political and cultural present as well as event recommendations. The app is designed to regularly update new content to cater to your needs.
